Risk & Best Practice Manager β Bath
Fantastic opportunity to join a Risk & Best Practice team at a top 100 law firm where you will be reporting into the Senior Risk & Best Practice Lawyer.
The role:
- Advising partners and staff on a wide range of compliance issues from ethics and professional standards to data protection and conflicts of interest
- Leading and delivering risk and compliance projects with confidence and clarity
- Collaborating with divisional and business leads on new initiatives, ensuring compliance is built in from the start
- Monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes, keeping the firm ahead of the curve
- Creating and delivering tailored training programmes across divisions
- Drafting and updating policies, bulletins, and precedent documents
- Producing and analysing compliance data to drive process improvements
- Coaching junior team members
What we\βre looking for:
- Extensive experience of working in risk and compliance in a law firm
- Strong technical knowledge of SRA Standards & Regulations, GDPR, AML, and complaints handling process
- Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills
- A proactive mindset and attention to detail
