Chadwick Nott are delighted to be working with a well-established regional law firm, currently seeking a Residential Property Conveyancer to join their busy and highly regarded conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer or legal executive to gain hands-on experience in a thriving residential property department. The team is known for its client-focused approach and strong local reputation, handling a broad range of property transactions across the South West.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced colleagues and clients on a variety of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold purchases and sales (registered and unregistered)
- Shared ownership and new build transactions
- Re-mortgages and equity release
- Transfers of equity and title rectifications
- Liaising with lenders, agents, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor, legal executive, or paralegal with relevant conveyancing experience. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- 0-2 years' PQE in residential property law
- A solid understanding of conveyancing processes and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and client-care abilities
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn
