Overview
Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor – Gloucester – 3 years PQE plus. Location: Gloucester (Hybrid/Flexible). Type of Role: Full-time. Salary: £45,000 to £65,000.
The Role
This is an autonomous position with responsibility for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload. Key duties include:
- Handling Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases
- Managing New Build transactions, Remortgages, Transfers of Equity, and Lease Extensions
- Advising on SDLT reliefs and exemptions
- Dealing with unregistered properties and title restrictions/cautions
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Building relationships with estate agents and brokers
- Supporting business development and departmental growth
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor with:
- Minimum 3 years\’ experience managing complex residential conveyancing matters
- Strong technical knowledge across the full range of conveyancing work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
- Familiarity with SDLT, Land Registry, and case management systems
