Residential Conveyancer – Cheltenham
Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a focused role without the need for business development or networking? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and growing team at a thriving Cheltenham practice, managing retirement new-build contracts with a steady stream of work from established developer partnerships.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in plot sales or retirement property transactions. You\’ll handle a consistent workload of retirement new-build conveyancing, ensuring smooth, efficient processes for elderly clients who require patience, understanding, and clear guidance.
The Role:
- Managing retirement property transactions, working with developers on new-build contracts.
- Ensuring a high standard of service for predominantly elderly clients, offering guidance and support.
- No business development or networking required-this role is purely focused on handling an existing pipeline of work.
- Highly organised approach needed to manage a fast-paced, high-volume caseload.
- Supported by a paralegal and legal assistant to streamline workflow.
Requirements:
Applications are welcome from qualified Solicitors, CILEX professionals, Licensed Conveyancers, or even unqualified candidates with strong conveyancing experience. The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least five years\’ experience in residential conveyancing (preferred).
- Be confident and self-sufficient, capable of managing transactions independently.
- Ideally have plot sales experience or familiarity with retirement new-build developments but this is desired and not essential.
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and the ability to handle high-volume work efficiently.
- Be empathetic and patient, understanding the specific needs of elderly clients.
