Property Litigation Associate – Bristol – 2 years PQE plus Location: Bristol Office (Hybrid) Type of Role: Full-time (Part-time considered) Salary: £45,000 to £65,000
Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a progressive and growing legal services provider currently seeking an experienced Property Litigation Associate to join their Litigation and Dispute Management team in central Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation lawyer looking to work within a dynamic, client-focused environment backed by a steady pipeline of high-quality work.
The Role
This is a client-facing and autonomous position, offering the opportunity to manage a broad range of property litigation matters. Responsibilities include:
- Managing cases involving property damage, trespass, and nuisance
- Handling disputes via court proceedings, mediation, and other ADR methods
- Running your own caseload with a focus on efficiency and client service
- Supervising junior team members where required
- Meeting billing targets and contributing to team KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal processes
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to an experienced litigation solicitor or associate with:
- Strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation from inception to trial
- Experience with mediation and ADR techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage complex cases
- High levels of client care and commercial awareness
- Supervisory or mentoring experience (desirable)
- Experience in property-related disputes (preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with legal expenses insurance and policy interpretation (advantageous)
- Resilience and empathy in handling contentious matters
Working Arrangements
- This is a full-time role based in a central Bristol office, just five minutes from Temple Meads station. Hybrid working is available (minimum 2 days/week in office). Part-time options (minimum 4 days/week or equivalent hours) may be considered depending on experience.
