b Overview /b p In this role you will manage a varied probate caseload within a private client team, handling estate administration, wills and related matters. You will advise on trusts, powers of attorney and inheritance tax, drafting key documents and liaising with executors and beneficiaries. The role emphasizes high-quality client care, compliance with SRA standards, and supporting business development in a regional practice. This is a chance to develop expertise in probate within a supportive, inclusive culture and contribute to the firm’s client-focused mission. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive salary /li li Health cash plan /li li Enhanced annual leave /li li Ongoing training and career development /li li Supportive, inclusive workplace culture /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration files from start to finish /li li Advising on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, inheritance tax, and intestacy /li li Drafting and reviewing legal documents including wills and trust deeds /li li Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, HMRC, and other stakeholders /li li Preparing applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration /li li Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and SRA standards /li li Delivering high-quality client care and fostering strong relationships /li li Supporting business development and networking initiatives /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (ideally 3+ years PQE, but all levels considered) /li li Solid experience in probate and estate administration /li li Excellent communication and client-handling skills /li li Strong attention to detail and organisation skills /li li Confidence working independently and managing deadlines /li li STEP qualification (or working towards) is a plus /li /ul ul li Excellent communication /li li Client-handling skills /li li Attention to detail /li li Probate and estate administration /li li Wills and trusts /li li Powers of attorney /li /ul
