The Role
You will play a key role within the Private Client team, managing your own caseload and delivering high quality, client centred advice. Your work will include:
- Advising on wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion
- Drafting clear, accurate legal documents to support clients' long term planning
- Communicating with clients in person, by phone and in writing, ensuring clarity and confidence at every stage
- Supporting and supervising junior and support staff
- Contributing to business development and strengthening the team's presence in the local community
- Building strong internal relationships across the wider firm
Candidate Requirements
- Essential 2-4 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Experience working within a private client team
- Strong ability to build rapport and manage client expectations
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a varied caseload
- Commercial awareness and confidence handling matters from a financial perspective
- Willingness to develop skills in networking and business development
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to contributing to a supportive team culture
