We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Private Client Solicitor with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience to join our client\’s private client team in Surrey. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, and further develop their skills while working on a diverse range of private client matters.

You will be managing a caseload of private client matters such as wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning. The candidate will provide high-quality legal advice to various clients, build and maintain strong client relationships, conduct legal research to stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, assist senior solicitors with complex cases, and contribute to the firm\’s success through active participation in business development activities.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified solicitor with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in private client law. They should possess strong technical skills, a solid understanding of wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive organizational abilities, a commitment to exceptional client service, and a passion for continuous professional development is a must have in this role.

Day-to-day tasks will include meeting with clients to discuss their private client needs, providing tailored legal advice, drafting wills, trusts, and other legal documents with precision, liaising with other departments within the firm to deliver a holistic service, maintaining accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall success of the private client department.
