Private Client Partner – Birmingham
New opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Private Client Partner to join this top 100 UK law firm. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual with a strong background in private client law looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a diverse caseload of private client matters including wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate
- Provide high-quality legal advice and support to individual clients, families, and trustees
- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing clients, and actively participate in business development activities
- Lead and mentor junior lawyers and support staff within the private client department
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years’ PQE, with substantial private client experience
- Proven track record of handling complex private client matters and delivering exceptional client service
- Experience working within or alongside private client teams in the Midlands
- Strong business development and networking skills, with a demonstrable ability to attract new clients and build lasting relationships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
Day-to-day
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, providing comprehensive legal advice and support to clients
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm
- Building and maintaining relationships with individual clients, families, and professional contacts
- Contributing to the overall growth and success of the private client department through business development initiatives and networking opportunities
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team, fostering a supportive and inclusive working environment
