Overview

Planning Solicitor NQ – 5 PQE – Exeter. We are thrilled to partner with a prestigious firm in their search for a planning law solicitor to join their esteemed planning law team in Exeter. The successful candidate will join a planning team renowned for its excellent relationships with both public and private sector clients. This team handles a diverse range of both contentious and non-contentious planning matters, including but not limited to planning obligations, highways and infrastructure, and contentious planning matters such as enforcement and judicial reviews. You\\\’ll be part of a growing team with a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity to shape the future of our planning offering across the UK. Expect to work on high-profile schemes including large-scale housing developments, energy infrastructure, and landmark relocations.

What you\\\’ll do

  • Advise on complex planning applications and strategy
  • Draft and negotiate Section 106 and 278 agreements
  • Support major development schemes across housing, waste and energy
  • Act on CPO matters, enforcement and public inquiries
  • Deliver planning due diligence for corporate and real estate deals
  • Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development

Candidates should have solid experience in planning law, ideally gained within a strong planning team. If you have a background in Local Authority and are seeking to transition into private practice, this could be a perfect opportunity. Due to growth our client welcome applications from NQ – 5 PQE.
