Well established regional firm has a new vacancy in their busy Personal Injury department in Northampton.
Responsibilities
- Managing and progressing a caseload of claimant personal injury claims including accidents at work, public liability accidents, road traffic accidents, clinical negligence, inquests, shock cases, group actions, foreign jurisdiction cases, product liability, Covid cases, CICA and industrial disease cases.
- Managing caseload independently while collaborating within a team.
- Preparing legal documents and managing case files.
- Engaging with medical experts, insurers, and opposing counsel to negotiate claims.
- Attending mediation, settlement meetings, and court hearings as required.
About you
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ PQE.
- Understanding of claim management software, Claims Portal, AskMID, AskCue, MedCo, ELTO, Court Portal and High Court Portal.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
