Pensions Managing Associate – Bristol
A leading international law firm is seeking a Managing Associate (6+ PQE) to join its market-leading pensions team. This is a newly created role offering a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, with high-profile clients across corporate sponsors, trustees, insurers, and overseas parent companies.
Responsibilities
- Scheme establishment, mergers, de-risking, and wind-ups
- Trustee duties, investment agreements, and regulatory compliance
- Pension litigation, trust-related claims, and rectification actions
- Insurance product development and cross-border pension issues
- Working closely with teams in London and Bristol, taking on significant responsibility and contributing to business development and client growth
Requirements
- 6+ years PQE in corporate pensions from a top city or regional firm
- Strong technical expertise across both advisory and contentious pensions work
- Excellent academics and commercial acumen
- A proactive approach to client relationships and business development
