A leading Top 100 law firm is seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Partner to join its expanding Bristol office. This senior appointment is ideal for a lawyer with an established client following and a clear growth strategy. The role offers the opportunity to shape and develop the firm’s dispute resolution presence across Bristol and the wider Southwest, working within a high-performing and collaborative national team.
The Role
- Managing and delivering high-quality, profitable work on your own matters
- Building and deepening relationships with clients and referrers
- Agreeing clear service scopes, pricing structures, and fee arrangements
- Providing commercially focused advice across a broad range of disputes
- Contributing to and implementing the departmental business plan
- Leading business development initiatives and generating new work
- Expanding your network of clients, intermediaries, and referrers
- Developing internal relationships to increase cross-referrals
- Supervising, coaching, and delegating effectively within the team
- Understanding departmental KPIs and contributing to performance targets
- Keeping up to date with legal and sector developments and shaping strategy
Candidate Requirements
- A credible business plan and demonstrable client following
- Experience in partnership, shareholder, and company disputes (desirable)
- Strong client management and relationship-building skills
- A proven track record of winning new business
- The ability to lead, mentor, and manage a small team
- Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
