Long established Nottingham firm seeks an employment solicitor to join their busy and expanding team. You will be part of a department noted in Legal 500 for their work and deal with a range of employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Dealing with a range of contentious and non-contentious employment work, mostly acting for employers
- Dealing with employee relations issues, employment tribunals, TUPE transactions, contracts of employment, settlement agreements, redundancies and restructures, dismissals and discrimination issues, and restrictive covenants
- Acting for clients in a diverse range of sectors
- Acting for a mix of owner managed businesses, charities and large corporate clients, some of which are household names
- Contributing to the marketing and business development activity of the team and wider firm
About you
- Up to 2 years PQE in employment law
- Good client relationship skills
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Keen attention to detail whilst also maintaining efficient progress
- Able to prioritise and manage numerous tasks
