An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Paralegal to join a highly regarded Private Client team in Northampton. This role would suit a Paralegal with previous private client experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established department. You will work closely with experienced fee earners, assisting on a broad range of private client matters while gaining valuable hands-on experience and client exposure.
The team advises individuals and families across a variety of private client matters, including:
- Wills
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts
- Estate planning
- Court of Protection matters
You will assist with the management of files from instruction through to completion, preparing legal documentation, liaising with clients and third parties, drafting correspondence and helping to ensure matters progress efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting fee earners with private client matters
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Preparing probate and estate administration paperwork
- Supporting with Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
- Managing files and maintaining case management systems
