Overview
In this senior role you will lead a varied commercial property caseload for a reputable South Wales firm, handling acquisitions, disposals and due diligence. You will work with a loyal client base of businesses, developers, investors and landowners, with autonomy and opportunities to influence the department’s growth. You’ll collaborate with senior lawyers and play a key part in business development while delivering clear, commercial advice. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion
- Oversee acquisitions, disposals and sale/purchase transactions
- Investigate title and perform due diligence
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents
- Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
- Report progress to clients and provide commercial guidance
- Supervise and support staff as appropriate
- Support business development and promote firm services
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ experience in Commercial Property
- Proven track record of independently managing sale/purchase transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Experience supervising support staff is advantageous
