An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join a growing and well-respected Private Client team in Milton Keynes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including managing correspondence, diary management, file opening and closing, preparing and amending legal documents, arranging client meetings, handling client enquiries and liaising with third parties such as banks, HMCTS and the Office of the Public Guardian.
- Support Solicitors on a varied caseload involving wills, probate, estate administration, trusts and lasting powers of attorney.
- You should also be confident using Microsoft Office, digital dictation systems and case management software, with the ability to work independently and support a busy team effectively.
Requirements
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage a busy workload efficiently.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach are essential.
- Experience preparing wills, LPAs and probate documentation would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, digital dictation systems and case management software.
- Ability to hit the ground running; previous Private Client experience is essential.
