A leading international law firm is seeking a Managing Associate (6+ PQE) to join its market‑leading Funds Finance practice in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile transactions across a wide range of asset classes, acting for both lenders and sponsors/borrowers.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for advising financial institutions, alternative lenders, funds, and sponsors on a variety of financings, including:
- Capital call facilities
- NAV facilities
- Hybrid facilities
- GP/co‑invest facilities
- SMA facilities across private equity, debt, credit, real estate, and infrastructure funds
You will also work closely with fund structures and partnership documents, collaborating with colleagues in a friendly, collegiate environment.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 6+ years PQE in funds finance, ideally gained at an international or leading regional firm
- Experience acting for both lenders and sponsors/borrowers
- Strong technical and drafting skills, with excellent academics
- Commercial awareness and a client‑focused approach
- Confidence in managing complex transactions independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to contribute to marketing and business‑development initiatives
