Overview
We are thrilled to be working with a national firm seeking a skilled and motivated Solicitor with experience in Court of Protection welfare matters to join their Public Law and Human Rights team. This role offers the chance to work on cases that directly impact the lives of vulnerable individuals, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices heard in complex decisions around health, care and personal welfare.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload from day one.
- Supervise junior colleagues.
- Represent clients in disputes involving medical treatment, residence and care arrangements, and best interest decisions.
- Support senior colleagues, build relationships with external organisations, and help strengthen our client offering.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the nationally recognised team.
Requirements
- Experience in Court of Protection welfare matters.
- Proven case handling experience.
- Strong commitment to justice.
- Connection to South Wales.
- PQE level NQ – 2 PQE.
