A respected South West law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years' post qualification experience to join its busy and well established Agriculture & Land team in Wells. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a high performing, collaborative environment with a strong focus on quality work, rural sector expertise and long term client relationships.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of agricultural and rural property matters, including:
- Sales and purchases of farms, estates and rural land
- Agricultural tenancies
- Rural land development and diversification projects
- Succession planning support
- Agricultural finance and security work
- Building strong relationships with landowners, farmers, estates and rural businesses
- Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with:
- 5+ years' PQE in agricultural, rural property or commercial property law
- Strong technical skills in property transactions
- A genuine interest in the rural and agricultural sector
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Confidence managing matters independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, solutions focused mindset
- Strong commercial awareness
- The ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
