A well-established legal practice is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate with 4-7 years post‐qualification experience to join its growing litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a broad range of litigation matters including commercial, property, construction, and contested estates, while contributing to strategic growth and client development.

The Role

  • Managing your own caseload and supporting senior colleagues on complex disputes, including:
  • Handling commercial, property, and construction litigation
  • Advising on contested wills, estates, and debt recovery
  • Managing cases from initial enquiry through to trial
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and witness statements
  • Liaising with clients, Counsel, and experts
  • Attending hearings and settlement discussions
  • Delegating tasks to trainees and junior staff
  • Supporting business development and client relationship management

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 4‐7 years PQE in litigation (applications from strong candidates outside this range will be considered)
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload through to trial
  • Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation processes
  • Experience working directly with clients, Counsel, and experts
  • Commercial awareness and ability to build client/referrer relationships
