A well established and highly respected firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (3 years+ PQE) to join their growing Employment & HR team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor looking to take the next step in their career and work with a broad range of clients, from multinational PLCs and public sector organisations to SMEs across the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of Employment Law and HR matters within a supportive team
- Advising on and drafting settlement agreements
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and wider employment documentation
- Running or assisting with employment tribunal claims and pre litigation negotiations
- Providing day to day HR and Employment Law advice across the full spectrum of issues
- Supporting corporate finance and commercial teams on TUPE, employment provisions in transactions, service agreements and consultancy agreements
- Assisting with internal investigations on behalf of clients
- Delivering in person and online training sessions on Employment Law and HR topics
- Contributing to business development
About You
- Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Employment Law and HR matters
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Highly organised, methodical and detail focused
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast paced but supportive environment
