A respected law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Legal Executive to join their growing team. This role offers flexibility in working arrangements and the chance to handle a varied and rewarding caseload while contributing to the continued development of the department.
The role
- Provide high‑quality legal services to Clinical Negligence clients, managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement.
- Conducting initial consultations and triaging new enquiries.
- Advising and supporting clients throughout their claims.
- Managing a varied caseload independently.
- Drafting Letters of Claim, analysing Letters of Response, preparing witness statements, instructions to counsel, and court documents.
- Reviewing and preparing chronologies of medical records and expert evidence.
- Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel.
- Advising on funding options including CFAs, ATE policies, and client care documentation.
- Negotiating with defendants and insurers to secure the best outcomes.
- Managing all aspects of the pre‑action protocol and litigated matters under the CPR.
