Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate and would consider Legal Director for the right person (2+ PQE) to join our cross office team. Based primarily in our client's London office, you will work closely with the Partner leading the team and support two junior fee earners. While you will have day to day supervisory responsibilities in London, you will also collaborate with colleagues across our UK offices as part of a fully integrated national practice.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency matters - transactional, advisory, and contentious - and the opportunity to work directly with a diverse client base including insolvency practitioners, banks, lenders, investors, directors, companies, and individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload across all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency.
  • Advise on administration appointments, security reviews, business and asset sales, winding up petitions, bankruptcy matters, and bankruptcy estate issues.
  • Handle contentious insolvency matters including transactions at undervalue, preferences, misfeasance, and directors' loan.
