Are you a Private Client Solicitor with a passion for tax planning, trusts, and succession? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Agriculture & Landed Estates team, working with farming families, landed estates, and highânetâworth individuals on complex and rewarding matters.
This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced Partners while managing your own caseload, advising clients on wealth protection and longâterm planning.
The Role- Advising on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning
- Creating taxâefficient solutions for succession and asset protection
- Structuring family partnerships and trusts
- Drafting bespoke trust documents and settlements
- Supporting estate administration for complex, highâvalue estates
- Working independently and alongside a Partner on established client relationships
- 5+ years' PQE with strong expertise in private client tax planning
- Inâdepth knowledge of IHT, CGT, and trust structures, particularly in the context of landed estates, farming enterprises, and family businesses
- Confidence in drafting tailored legal documents and trust instruments
- A genuine enthusiasm for tax efficiency, succession planning, and asset protection
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload under pressure
- A clear path for career progression, with potential for partnership
- Support for further training and qualifications to enhance your expertise
