Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading Welsh law firm in their search for an experienced Employment Law Associate to join their Employment & Immigration team in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within one of the largest employment and immigration teams in Wales, supporting a broad client base and collaborating with the firm's Corporate & Private Equity division.
The Role
This non-contentious role offers a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload. Responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on day-to-day employment law matters
- Supporting corporate transactions and restructures with employment law expertise
- Advising on TUPE and senior exits
- Collaborating with lawyers across the Employment & Immigration and Corporate teams
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development
- Participating in business development initiatives
- Travelling regularly to Cardiff and occasionally to London for client meetings
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to an employment lawyer with:
- 5+ years PQE in employment law
- Experience in corporate support and TUPE/senior exits
- Strong technical and commercial awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage time and solve problems effectively
- Confidence to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in mentoring and line management
- Commitment to client service and relationship building
Working Arrangements
This role supports hybrid working, with flexibility to work between home and the Cardiff office.
