We are recruiting on behalf of a leading, fast‑growing UK law firm for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their Lincoln team. The firm offers legal, property and financial services across multiple UK locations and is known for its high standards, collaborative culture and client‑focused approach.
The role involves managing a full residential caseload and delivering exceptional service to clients and referrers.
Key responsibilities:- Manage residential conveyancing matters including freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Communicate with clients daily via phone, email and in person.
- Maintain and update the case management system.
- Liaise with solicitors, brokers, estate agents and internal branches.
- Conduct title checks, review searches and mortgage offers, and report to clients.
- Raise, chase and sign off enquiries.
- Handle due diligence, risk assessments and ensure AML and data protection compliance.
- Exchange contracts, complete transactions and deal with post‑completion requisitions.
- Mentor and support colleagues; undertake leadership tasks where required.
- Proven experience managing residential conveyancing files from start to finish.
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with an interest in sharing knowledge and supporting others.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the team.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
