Clinical Negligence Solicitor / CILEX β Leeds (Hybrid) β From Β£48,000.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor or CILEX to join a specialist team handling claimant clinical negligence matters.
This role will involve managing a varied caseload of complex and high-value clinical negligence claims, covering both pre-issue and litigated matters.
You will work on technically challenging cases while providing a high standard of client care and maintaining strong relationships with experts and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of complex and high-value clinical negligence claims, covering pre-issue and litigated matters.
- Provide a high standard of client care and maintain strong relationships with experts and stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of case handlers, including ongoing support, regular supervision meetings, training, and contributing to team development.
- Contribute to the smooth running of a busy department and support junior team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong claimant clinical negligence experience with a proven track record in litigation.
- Solid understanding of CPR and clinical negligence law.
- Experience with Legal Expenses Insurance, publicly funded work or CFA arrangements would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills; ability to manage claims pragmatically and supervise junior team members.
