Known for advising on cutting-edge matters across both the commercial and public sectors, the team has become a trusted adviser to household names and innovative organisations alike. With over 20 lawyers and a strong collaborative culture, you\’ll be supported by outstanding colleagues and leaders who are recognised experts in their field.
The role
You\’ll be part of a busy, forward-looking team handling a wide range of non-contentious IP matters, including:
- Advising on IP transactions (licensing, assignments, franchising)
- Structuring ownership and protection of IP assets
- Negotiating R&D and collaboration agreements across academia and industry
- Conducting intellectual property audits and due diligence
- Providing IP support for wider commercial and corporate deals
The client base is second to none and includes well-known consumer brands and global innovators, the kind of names you\’ll be proud to represent.
Candidate requirements
- Strong experience in non-contentious/transactional Intellectual Property work
- Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales (SRA) or Scotland (Law Society of Scotland) with around 8 years\’ PQE
- A commercial mindset and enthusiasm for helping clients turn ideas into commercial success
