You will provide initial legal advice to members on agricultural, property, and tenancy matters. You will also contribute to policy work and help represent member interests to government and sector bodies.

Person specification
- Solicitor or equivalent qualification (England & Wales)
- Experience in agricultural law, rural property, or landlord & tenant
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain legal issues clearly
- Confident researching unfamiliar areas; access to LexisNexis is provided
- Understanding of policy development is desirable
- Understanding of issues affecting rural landowners and rural businesses is desirable
Interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of members

- Strong written and verbal advocacy skills
