A well‑established, Lexcel and CQS‑accredited law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its national residential property team in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancer who can manage their own caseload and contribute to a high‑performing department.
About You
- Significant experience handling sales, purchases, remortgages, shared ownership, lease variations, new build purchases, Help to Buy and related matters
- Ideally 5+ years PQE (Solicitor, CLC or CILEX)
- Confident managing a full caseload independently and able to hit the ground running
- Strong local knowledge and experience working with residential property clients
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post‑completion
- Handle residential sales and purchases
- Manage remortgage and equity release transactions
- Review and check titles for freehold and leasehold properties
- Manage transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers
- Provide guidance and training to conveyancing assistants
- Build and maintain client relationships within the local area
- Cross‑refer clients to other departments where appropriate
- Apply strong knowledge of the local property market
- Manage a varied residential property caseload efficiently and accurately
- Provide cover for other offices when required
