I am working with a well‑established and highly regarded regional law firm who are seeking an experienced Residential Property Fee Earner to join their friendly team in Frome. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own caseload and delivering exceptional client care within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The role & responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold and freehold transactions, and transfers of equity
  • Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout the process
  • Building strong client relationships through effective communication and a proactive approach
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Keeping up to date with changes in property law and advising clients accordingly

Person specification

  • At least 2 years' experience running your own caseload of residential property matters
  • Confident in handling issues that arise during transactions and providing clear, solution‑focused advice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to client care
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional
  • Commercially aware with a service‑driven mindset
  • Open to applications from Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers, or experienced Fee Earners
