Location: Bristol or Birmingham (with flexible hybrid working)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000
A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE) to join its nationally recognised Financial Services Disputes & Investigations (FSDI) team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the largest financial litigation teams in the country, advising major financial institutions on a wide range of contentious matters.
Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of financial services disputes
- Advising clients on commercial litigation, insurance, and property-related claims
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters and strategic advice
- Participating in business development and client relationship activities
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple UK offices
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with NQ-3 years PQE in financial disputes, commercial litigation, or related areas
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
- Ability to manage deadlines and client expectations
- A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork
