A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its friendly and supportive team in Wimborne.

The Role

  • Manage your own caseload of privately funded family law matters, working closely with clients to provide clear, pragmatic advice during what are often sensitive and complex situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of private family matters
  • Advising on divorce and separation
  • Handling financial settlements, including more complex cases
  • Dealing with private children matters and arrangements
  • Drafting and advising on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
  • Supporting clients through negotiations and, where necessary, court proceedings
  • Providing a high level of client care and maintaining strong relationships
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the department

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
  • Ideally 2+ years' PQE in family law (flexible depending on experience)
  • Strong experience in privately funded family work
  • Confident managing your own caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic, professional, and client-focused approach
  • Resolution membership (desirable but not essential)
