A well established regional practice is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive (5+ PQE) to join its growing Family team in Wimborne. This is an excellent opportunity to take on an existing caseload of fully private family work and play a key role in developing and expanding the department.
The Role
- You'll handle a broad range of private family matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy matters
- Private law children work
- Cohabitation issues
- Pre and post nuptial agreements
- TOLATA and related disputes (if experienced)
- You will also:
- Manage an existing caseload with full secretarial support
- Build and grow the department through strong client relationships and local networking
- Deliver clear, empathetic and commercially focused advice
- Work closely with colleagues across the firm to support cross referrals
- Contribute to the firm's presence within the local community
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to a solicitor or legal executive with:
- 5+ years' PQE in family law
- Strong experience across a broad range of private family matters
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- A proactive, personable and community focused approach
- Confidence managing files independently
- A desire to help grow and develop the department
