A well established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor or FCILEx (3+ PQE) to join its successful and growing Real Estate team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a strong existing client base while contributing to the continued development of a high performing practice.
The Role
- Advising a broad range of national and regional businesses, banks, developers, and landowners on all aspects of commercial property work, including:
- Sales and purchases
- Commercial leases
- Development matters
- Acting for lenders and borrowers
- Supporting long standing professional relationships with surveyors, accountants, banks, and other advisers
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate autonomy
- Contributing to business development and the wider growth of the team
This role requires attendance in the Exeter office 2-3 days per week, with an initial office based period to support onboarding and integration.
Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years’ post qualification experience in commercial property
- Strong technical skills across a broad range of real estate matters
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- A proactive approach to business development
- Experience supervising or supporting junior team members
