This role sits within a specialist group acting for social housing providers, local authorities and housing organisations. The Role
A brilliant opening for a junior lawyer looking to develop their expertise in property litigation with a social-housing focus. You'll work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload, including:
- Housing management disputes
- Possession, disrepair and anti-social behaviour matters
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documents
- Court work, mediations and advisory support
- Building strong client relationships with national and regional housing providers
- Contributing to team initiatives and business development
You'll gain exposure to complex and interesting matters from day one, with the right level of supervision and plenty of opportunity to grow.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or FCILEX with 0-3 years' PQE, though those outside this range may also be considered. You will:
- Have experience or a strong interest in property litigation and/or social housing
- Bring excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a friendly, high performing team
- Be proactive, commercially aware and committed to delivering practical, client focused advice
