This Top 100 national firm are looking for an experienced private client solicitor to join their highly regarded Private Wealth team at Associate or Senior Associate level. You will be based in central Exeter, working as part of a strong and well established team with the flexibility of hybrid working.

This is a heavyweight private client practice with an impressive and diverse client base, advising individuals, families, entrepreneurs, landowners and high profile clients on complex, high value matters. The work includes estate and succession planning, trusts, tax structuring, probate and wealth preservation often involving multi jurisdictional elements. The quality of work is consistently high.

The ideal candidate will have a broad and well rounded private client background, covering Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax planning, and the administration of estates and trusts. You'll also support or lead on complex probate matters and work closely with colleagues across tax, real estate and corporate to deliver integrated advice.

At this level, you'll be encouraged to take an active role in business development, helping to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones across the region. Depending on your experience, you may also supervise junior lawyers and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.

This role would suit someone with strong private client experience who is used to handling complex, high calibre work. You may be looking to step up into a senior associate role, or you may already be operating at that level and seeking a broader, more sophisticated client base. A STEP qualification (or progress towards it) would be an advantage.

In return, the firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment, excellent training and development, hybrid working and a strong salary and benefits package.
