A leading Legal 500 recognised West Country law firm is seeking a Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its specialist team based in Exeter. With a strong regional presence and growing national client base, the firm offers high-quality contentious work, a supportive culture, and clear opportunities for progression.
The Role
You’ll join an experienced and collaborative litigation team, working on a broad range of disputes across the High Court, County Courts, District Registries and Tribunals. Managing your own caseload, you’ll handle a mix of litigation matters, including commercial and consumer disputes, while supporting clients from initial instruction through to resolution. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, gaining exposure to complex work and playing a key role in delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years' PQE in litigation or dispute resolution
- Experience managing a varied caseload of contentious matters
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships and deliver excellent service
- Well organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing deadlines
