A dynamic and fast growing regional law firm is seeking an enthusiastic Property Litigation Lawyer to join its respected Dispute Resolution team in Exeter. The firm has expanded significantly across Devon in recent years and is now one of the largest practices in the region. With ambitious plans for continued growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a bright and committed lawyer to make a real impact within a vibrant and supportive department.
The Role
You will join the firm's Property Litigation team, working closely with experienced colleagues and handling a broad range of property related disputes. While this role is based in Exeter, there may be opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the wider Devon office network.
You will advise clients on a variety of matters, including:
- Commercial and residential property disputes
- Landlord and tenant issues
- Boundary disagreements
- Rights of way and easement concerns
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with clients to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively
- Managing a varied caseload with support from senior lawyers
- Drafting legal documents and preparing for hearings
- Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings
This role is suitable for both newly qualified solicitors and more experienced practitioners looking to develop their expertise in property litigation.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified:
- Solicitor, or
- Legal Executive (NQ or above)
You should also have:
- A genuine interest or experience in property litigation
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent client care skills and a commitment to delivering high quality service
