The Role

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:
    • Acting for commercial landlords and tenants
    • Joint venture work, retail and leisure projects
    • Acquisitions of development sites for commercial and mixed-use purposes
    • Advising on commercial contracts
    • Portfolio sales and acquisitions
    • Business transfer work (restaurants, guest houses, etc.)
    • Project management and cross-team collaboration
    • Active participation in marketing and business development
    • Managing your own files and ensuring Lexcel compliance

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' PQE in commercial property law
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Commercial market awareness and general experience in commercial law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in managing matters independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
