The Role
You'll join a busy and well-established team advising on a wide range of rural property matters for clients including landowners, estates, farmers and rural businesses. The work is varied and hands-on, offering exposure across:
- Agricultural tenancies and estate management
- Sales and acquisitions of farmland and rural property
- Land use, diversification and development projects
- Renewable energy and evolving rural initiatives
You'll run your own matters while supporting senior colleagues on more complex transactions, gaining exposure to high-quality work early on. There will also be opportunities to get involved in client-facing activity, including networking and sector events, as well as contributing to business development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a lawyer looking to build or specialise in a long-term career within rural property. You will:
- Be a qualified solicitor with experience in real estate or property law
- Ideally have exposure to agricultural or rural matters, or a strong interest in developing this specialism
- Be confident managing your own caseload and meeting deadlines
