Fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well established regional firm with strong coverage across Wiltshire. This firm is known for high quality private client work, a supportive culture and a reputation that extends well beyond the local area.
They are now looking to strengthen their nationally recognised Private Client team with an experienced solicitor (4+ PQE). This is a great chance to join a collaborative, Legal 500 ranked department where many of the lawyers are STEP qualified or Lifetime Lawyers members, giving the team real depth and expertise.
The Role
You’ll manage a varied and rewarding caseload of private client matters, working closely with a friendly and cohesive team. The work includes:
- Wills, probate and estate administration
- LPAs
- Trust and tax matters
- High quality, often complex private client work
You’ll also have the opportunity to:
- Build and develop new client relationships through networking and BD in a way that suits your strengths
- Support junior team members with their training and development
- Play a part in the continued growth of a respected and expanding team
Candidate Requirements
This role will suit a Private Client Solicitor who has:
- 4+ years’ PQE in private client work
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and tax
- Excellent client care skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy
- A proactive approach to business development
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues
- STEP membership or interest in working towards it (advantageous)
