An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor or CILEX to join a well-established employment team handling a broad range of complex work. You will work across a varied caseload including both claimant and respondent matters, acting for a wide range of clients such as insurers, businesses, consumers and institutions. The work is diverse and will involve both advisory and contentious employment matters.
This role will see you take on a senior technical position within the team, providing strategic, practical and technical guidance while supporting and mentoring colleagues. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of legal practice and delivering a strong client service.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in employment law, with the ability to handle all aspects of litigation. Experience working with insurer clients and liaising with claims handlers is important, along with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities. Strong communication skills, a commercial approach and a genuine enthusiasm for employment law are essential. You should be confident building relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, and comfortable providing technical support to colleagues.
