Chadwick Nott have been instructed by a top 100 national law firm entering an exciting period of growth across its South West Employment practice. With brand new, modern offices in central Bristol, this is a standout opportunity for a Senior Associate or Partner level employment lawyer to help shape and grow the firm's Bristol presence.
The Role
You will play a leading role in developing the Employment team's footprint in Bristol and the wider region. The position is open to both Senior Associates looking to build a strong case for partnership, and established Partners seeking a platform to grow their following. Your work will cover the full range of employment matters, including complex advisory work, employee relations issues and Tribunal litigation (desirable but not essential). You will manage your own matters efficiently, build and deepen client relationships, drive new business, contribute to departmental strategy and support the development of junior team members.
Candidate Requirements
- 7+ years' PQE in employment law
- A clear growth plan or business case for the Bristol market
- Strong client management skills and a track record of delivering excellent service
- Proven ability to win new work and build a sustainable pipeline
- Experience supervising or managing a small team
- Commercial awareness and the ability to give clear, pragmatic advice
- Tribunal litigation experience (advantageous but not essential)
- A following is welcome but not essential for Senior Associate applicants with strong growth potential.
