Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading international law firm in their search for an Employment Associate to join their high-performing Employment team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of employment matters for major clients across sectors, with exposure to both domestic and international work.
The Role
This is a varied and client-facing position offering high-quality advisory and contentious employment work. Responsibilities include:
- Advising on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, and discrimination matters
- Handling Employment Tribunal litigation and High Court claims
- Supporting employment aspects of corporate transactions and reorganisations
- Working with major employer clients across sectors including finance, tech, and government
- Collaborating with colleagues across practice groups and jurisdictions
- Contributing to client training, thought leadership, and business development
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:
- 3+ years PQE in employment law
- Strong technical knowledge and litigation experience
- Excellent drafting and advisory skills
- A commercial mindset and client-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a large, high-performing team
- Enthusiasm for innovation and continuous learning
Working Arrangements
