Education Solicitor – Birmingham

Fantastic opportunity for an Education Solicitor to join this leading national firm.

You will manage your own caseload, support junior colleagues, and work on matters that genuinely change lives.

The Opportunity

Running a caseload of complex education matters, including SEND Tribunal appeals

Advising on a wide range of education law issues such as:

  • School admissions, exclusions & disability discrimination cases
  • Complaints against local authorities & schools
  • Judicial Reviews & UTT appeals
  • Advice to schools/colleges on safeguarding and education law
  • EHCP health checks & SEN strategy advice
  • Community care law linked to education matters

Supervising junior colleagues and reviewing case files

Building strong relationships with clients, charities, and education organisations

Writing and delivering training, seminars, and articles

What We\’re Looking For

  • Solid experience in education law (public law/community care knowledge an advantage)
  • Confidence to work independently on issued cases
  • Resilience, empathy, and the ability to support vulnerable clients
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for achieving justice
