A well established, full service Devon law firm with a strong local reputation is looking to expand its busy Family team in Exeter.

This is a great opportunity for a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a thriving, friendly department handling a broad mix of family and matrimonial work. You'll be advising clients on matters including:

  • Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
  • Separation and cohabitation issues
  • Financial settlements
  • Children matters
  • General family law advice

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running and progressing your own day‑to‑day caseload
  • Providing clear and empathetic legal advice
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments
  • Building relationships with clients, referrers and local networks
  • Supporting the team with marketing and business‑development activity

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (or close to qualification)
  • Experience in family law, ideally across a range of matters
  • Experience with legal aid is helpful but not essential

  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with accuracy and attention to detail
