A growing regional law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Lawyer with approximately 3-5 years' post qualification experience to join its established Litigation Department in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload, work closely with senior colleagues, and contribute to the continued development of the team.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of personal injury matters, including:
- Running MOJ Portal and Fast Track cases
- Handling Intermediate Track cases with minimal supervision
- Assisting a partner on larger Multi Track matters
- Supporting on clinical negligence cases (experience desirable but not essential)
- Travelling to other offices when required to meet clients
- Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives
- Developing new sources of personal injury work and following through on ideas
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to a Personal Injury Lawyer who:
- Has around 3-5 years' post qualification experience in personal injury
- Is a solicitor or CILEX with full litigation practising rights
- Can manage their own caseload confidently and independently
- Is willing to learn additional areas of litigation if required
- Has strong communication, organisational, and client care skills
- Brings a proactive approach to business development
- May have a client following or proven BD track record (advantageous)
