A growing regional law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Lawyer with approximately 3-5 years' post qualification experience to join its established Litigation Department in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload, work closely with senior colleagues, and contribute to the continued development of the team.

The Role

  • You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of personal injury matters, including:
  • Running MOJ Portal and Fast Track cases
  • Handling Intermediate Track cases with minimal supervision
  • Assisting a partner on larger Multi Track matters
  • Supporting on clinical negligence cases (experience desirable but not essential)
  • Travelling to other offices when required to meet clients
  • Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives
  • Developing new sources of personal injury work and following through on ideas

Candidate Requirements

  • This role is suited to a Personal Injury Lawyer who:
  • Has around 3-5 years' post qualification experience in personal injury
  • Is a solicitor or CILEX with full litigation practising rights
  • Can manage their own caseload confidently and independently
  • Is willing to learn additional areas of litigation if required
  • Has strong communication, organisational, and client care skills
  • Brings a proactive approach to business development
  • May have a client following or proven BD track record (advantageous)
