A well established South West law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its busy and supportive Family team in Exmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client focused lawyer to handle a varied caseload and contribute to the continued growth of a respected regional practice.
The Role
- You will manage your own caseload of family law matters and provide high quality advice across a broad range of issues, including:
- Divorce and civil partnership matters
- Separation and cohabitation issues
- Financial remedy work
- Private children matters
- General family law advice
- Legal Aid work (desirable but not essential)
Candidate Requirements
- Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced fee earner with 5+ years' experience managing your own caseload
- Strong background across a broad range of family law matters
- Ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
- Personable, articulate and confident working independently and as part of a team
- Experience using case management systems (advantageous)
- Comfortable transitioning to e files and digital workflows
- Motivated, enthusiastic and committed to delivering excellent client service
- Interest in supervising or mentoring junior staff is welcomed
